Patrons
The Charter, the gilt.
Keep the fire lit for everyone. Recognition and warmth — never an edge at the fire.
- Where
- Become a Patron, in the news or on the Leaderboard
- Costs
- Once, for good — or give one to a friend
- You get
- The gilt, Patron’s Gold, Ghost the cat
- Everyone gets
- The Patron’s Round: half as much XP again at your table
- The gilt — a slow ember glow around your portrait, wherever it shows. One switch hides it.
- Patron’s Gold — a name colour of your own, in the Profile.
- Ghost — a black kitten to bring to the fire.
- The Round — every player at your table earns more XP; the Patron’s Book keeps your name.
The Patron’s Charter. A one-time payment, on PayPal’s own page, for as long as the village stands. It helps keep the fire lit for everyone and buys no edge at it.
What it gives. The gilt around your portrait; the name colour Patron’s Gold; Ghost, a black kitten for your stool; and the Patron’s Round — at a real match with a patron at the table, everyone earns half as much XP again. The Patron’s Book lists the patrons (searchable), with the Warmest Hearths and the Most Generous.
Gifts. Give a Charter to a friend by name, as a code, or to a villager chosen by the village — anonymously if you like. A receipt reaches a confirmed email address.
Show me as a patron. One switch removes the gilt everywhere, keeps you out of the Book and keeps your Round anonymous.
